Larry D. Barr is the owner of Rebel Wolf Energy Systems in North Central Texas. RWES specializes in consulting and design of Renewable Energy systems for off-grid Little Houses and design and custom fabrication of portable and mobile RE systems for emergency communications and other tasks. Larry has been active in the RE movement since the 1970s, during which he lived off-grid for almost two years, with power supplied by a Wincharger 1222H wind generator. An amateur radio operator (K5WLF), he has developed the "Solar Powered Ham Station" for rapid deployment to emergency and disaster locations. Well-versed in energy conservation and electrical self-sufficiency, Larry enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with others.
